Before that no RPG ever success in America all u have is fighting, shooting and racing. The game has best story (politic, character backgroud and his/her's development,love, betrayal, etc). After FFVI we see FFVII that also great cause it still have a good story and better battle sistem, witch been copied by many other RPG. Plus it has better picture. Then come FFVIII that mark the turning point of FF series. It have some of the best character design in history of gaming but that's it. The story is horrible, a student becoming a leader and lead his school fighting a nation and safe the world, come on!!!! The system is the worst of all, what the point leveling up if u'r enemy also leveling up. U kill u'r first monster with to hit only to find out that u still need two hit to kill the same monster while u already level 99. The next FF, the FF9 is better but it had a weak character design, a boy with a tail, i'm playing monkey?!. The story is good but more suitable for little children. Too much fantasy, less politic, betrayal and love. FFX and FFX-2 it has better stories, system and a great graphic, but less powerfull protagonis hero. Im playing a blitz boy that turn to servant off some lady only to find out i already die. Still its better than the last 2. It give me a hope that the next one will improve. FF12 The final letdown, it crush my hope like a nuts meet a hammer. It had more than one potential, real time battle, great grapic, character design but loss in story and battle system. The story is good at first but the character never grow/develop and what is Vahn role in all this, he can die and still have a happy ending. The battle is the worst. U literally can just create a set a command and just wait u'r enemy to die with out moving some finger. That what i really do when i face the last boss and extra boss. Suck!!!!!!!!!!!
